Free London Events - Monday 6th - Sunday 12th October

Firstly we'd like to say thanks for all the feedback and to everyone who's listed an event so far on Free London Listings.

As we enter our fourth week we now have over 600 events listed from beekeeping classes to Class War bonfires, so you should find something to keep you entertained as the nights draw in.

No outdoor festivals this weekend, but Trafalgar Square sees 'Memory Cloud'  running from Wednesday to Friday.  At this interactive art exhibition "Participants will be able to submit their own worded messages, and then see these messages magically spelled out in letters made of smoke".

Then on Saturday they make way for the annual Eid in the Square celebrations with further celebrations in Brent on Sunday.

Centerprise International Black Literature festival takes place at the Emirates Stadium over the weekend with lectures, debates, book launches and signings.

The Other Side Presents an all day free party in 93 Feet East on Sunday, with Tombolas, roast beef, DJs and comedy, whilst just over the road the Vibe Bar has Rotoreliefs, an evening of short films.

One benefit worthy of a mention is for the sacked Gate Gourmet workers who have a fundraising bazaar costing 20p to enter and a concert in the evening (£5/3 concs) at Harnbrough School in Southall on Saturday.

Sticking with politics and the spirit of insurrection is in the air across the capital all weekend.  The SWP (we know) have called a demo in the city stating 'We Won't Bail Out the Bankers' on Friday.  At the same time the annual Madpride Bed-push and Party will be making it's way through the streets of North London to Parliament Hill.

On Saturday Demonstrators will gather outside New scotland Yard to demand Freedom Not Fear whilst elsewhere in Central London protesters will be warning Bush and Cheney to keep their grubby hands off Iraqi oil.

Meanwhile Conway Hall plays host to Feminism 08 (£3/1 concs) and the Synergy Centre are running a Mini Eco-Fair.

And if that's all a but much head to Waterstones Piccadilly on Thursday where you might get to meet Girls Aloud.

(some folk who registered in the early days might still be having log in problems, if that's the case then try changing your password and if that don't work get in touch - thanks)
