Backed by the UK Film Council, Filming East Festival is an annual event to promote China’s films and its film industry in the UK. FEF has developed into the biggest Chinese independent film festival in the UK, benefiting more than 2,000 people directly or indirectly. In 2007, the festival was covered by more than 30 media organisations around the world.
